The Stylus Photo R2880 is Epson's new flagship A3+ printer and the successor model to the iconic Stylus Photo R2400. Building on 40 years of research and extensive experience in imaging and printing, the introduction of the Epson Stylus Photo R2880 has taken A3+ printing another step forward. It features improved image quality compared to its predecessor, due to an improved head, Epson's new LUT technology and Epson UltraChrome K3+ Vivid Magenta ink. However, the Epson Stylus Photo R2880 still comes with all of the additional features Epson users have become accustomed to. These include front facing USB PictBridge connectivity as well as dual USB 2.0 ports on the rear of the printer. The Stylus Photo R2880 provides additional media support for CD and DVD printing, fine art paper, roll paper and thick rigid media such as board and poly-board.
